Serves 1

Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Blender
  • Glass

Ingredients

  • Banana x 1 small
  • Raspberries x 1 handful
  • Pea or rice protein x 30 g or a protein of your choice
  • Raw cacao powder or cocoa powder x 1 tsp
  • Medjool dates x 1 – 2
  • Ground ginger x 1 – 2 tsp
  • Rose essence or water x 1 tsp
  • Rose paste x 1 tsp
  • Coconut water, water or a milk of your choice x 250 mls or more

Method

  • Slice the medjool dates in half and remove the stones.
  • Put the banana, raspberries, pea or rice protein, raw cacao powder or cocoa powder, medjool dates, ground ginger, rose essence or water and rose paste into the blender cup.
  • Pour over the coconut water.
  • Blend these ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  • Then serve and enjoy.
