When it’s a cold Winter morning I like nothing more than a warm bowl of porridge. In fact I probably eat porridge a lot at this time of year. Therefore I like to make it different everyday. I also love chocolate too. In recent months I’ve stopped eating it after my dinner as I feel it might be keeping me up at night. Instead, as it’s a stimulant, I have started adding it to my breakfast. The chocolate gives the porridge a rich creamy flavour and the orange adds the sweetness. For me this is the perfect breakfast to wake up too. I hope it will be for you too.

Chocolate Orange Porridge Smoothie was a tasty way to start my day. It was very easy to prepare and cook. As I make this breakfast the night before it makes it so easy to get up and cook it. Plus the ingredients in this smoothie are freezable so you could prepare it and freeze it for another occasion. I would check the protein powder. Rice protein you wouldn’t be able to freeze but other proteins I’m sure would be ok. As I mentioned earlier it was a great way to start my day. However you decide to eat this porridge, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
