Brazilian Chocolate Orange Biscuits (Vegan)

Brazilian Chocolate Orange Biscuits

There’s nothing quite like a nice cup of tea (or coffee if you are not from the UK) and a biscuit (or cookie). These Brazilian Chocolate Orange Biscuits are no exception. They are great with a tea or coffee and they are great as a pick me up snack. They are a quick, simple and easy recipe to follow.

For these biscuits I used Brazil nuts as they give the biscuit a great crunch but they are also a fantastic superfood. As part of an overall healthy diet Brazil nuts contain rich amounts of key nutrients. They are a great source of antioxidant Vitamin E which is recommended to maintain cell membranes and protect skin health. These nuts are also a great source of copper, magnesium, potassium, calcium and zinc.

Many nuts have great health properties but Brazil nuts are definitely at the top of the list. Not many foods are able to improve sexual health, protect against cancer and boost metabolism but Brazil nuts do. Eating these nuts with chocolate and orange in a biscuits is delicious and healthy. Well worth a try.

Brazilian Chocolate Orange Biscuits

The first time I made these biscuits was as part of my parents’ Christmas present and they loved them. We really enjoyed them too as we love chocolate, orange anything in this house. The chocolate and orange in these biscuits really complements the brazil nuts. Also the 50g of Brazil nuts that are put in at the end of the process give the biscuit an extra crunch. Brazilian Choc Orange Biscuits make a brilliant gift or can be enjoy selflessly with a nice hot drink. However you decide to eat them, as always, enjoy.
