My husband Howard loves mince pies. Personally I think Howard loves the food at Christmas more than the presents. The other day he was commenting on the lack of homemade mince pies that he had eat this December. I felt it was time to start the process. For the past few year I have been making my own filling. This year I thought I would share the recipe separately. Just in case you would like to use it in other recipes. It’s delicious in mince pies though so watch out for my NEW mince pie recipe tomorrow. Below is a video and recipe for you.
Do you love the filling and if so have you tried it in other foods? Let me know in the comments below and please don’t forget to like and follow me.

Homemade Mince Meat Filling from Scratch is yummy. I enjoy making my own as it’s such an easy condiment to prepare and make. I don’t like buying it from the shops as I often find it has preservatives and/or natural flavouring in. When I make my own I know exactly what is going into the mixture. Plus I think it’s tastier than shop brought as well. It will keep in the fridge for up to six months or more. However you decide to eat this condiment, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
