When winter comes I love to cook in my slow cooker. Slow cooking food is a great way to cook a meal. It’s also great to cook desserts in. In the past I have normally stewed apples on the hob or in the oven. I haven’t stewed them in a slow cooker. Therefore I thought it was about time I did. It was a brilliant way to stew apples and blackberries. We loved it and we hope you will too.

Slow Cooker Apples and Blackberries were delicious. The preparation for cooking the apples is slightly time consuming but the efforts are worth the results. These apples were so tasty served with coconut cream or maple syrup. The stewed apples and blackberries can also be frozen and used in other recipes like porridge or a smoothie. However you decide to eat this dish, as always, please enjoy. Thank you. xxx
