Apple and Blackberry Smoothie

Apple and Blackberry Smoothie

Smoothies although they can be sugary are a good way to get fruit into your kids diet. My son Ted used to love apples. Ted also used to love a homemade apple and blackberry crumble. Nowadays Ted is not so keen on eating fruit. Therefore I have to get even sneakier.

Thankfully Ted still loves a smoothie. I decided to try making him a smoothie with the slow cooker apples and blackberries from the garden. Ted was a bit indifferent to the drink but I thought I was so tasty. My son may not drink this again but certainly will. I hope you will too.

Apple and Blackberry Smoothie

Apple and Blackberry Smoothie was a great way to enjoy the slow cooker fruit I made earlier in the week. It was very easy to prepare and cook. Plus it would make a delicious breakfast or a yummy dessert or sweet treat too. All the ingredients in the smoothie could be frozen and eaten on another occasion. However you decided to drink this smoothie, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
