Biscotti are my husband Howard and son Ted’s new favourite biscuit. Although when I decided to add lavender I did wonder whether they would love them or loathe them. A few months ago I suggested to my husband to add lavender to a certain dish and he told me that I would be eating it myself.
So when I made these yummy biscuits I made the decision not to tell Howard and Ted what ingredients I had used. Then they both told me that these were the best biscuits I had baked. Howard then asked me what I had put in the biscotti. When I told him it was lavender he just shrugged and said they were really good.
That just proves the old saying right, don’t knock it until you have tried it. I thank god we didn’t have a Marmite moment too. Otherwise I would have had to eat all these biscuits myself. Although that would have not been hard to do. Anyway these biscuits seemed to be a massive hit in our house and one I will definitely be making again. Below is a video and recipe for you.

Lavender Chocolate Biscotti were delicious and very well received in our home. As I mentioned earlier, to my pleasant surprise Howard and Ted really enjoyed eating these biscuits. For them both to like the same food is also a miracle. These biscuits are delicious as a morning or afternoon treat but we also enjoy them as our dessert after dinner. We have also given them as a gift and they were well received too. However you decide to eat these biscuits, as always, please enjoy. xxx
