Equipment

- Saucepan
- Glass or metal bowl
- Sharp knife
- Chopping board
- Teaspoon
- Spoon Fork
- Grease proof paper
- Plate or baking sheet
Ingredients
- Dark chocolate x 50 – 60g or a
- Dates x 10 – 12
- Mixed Spices x 1 tsp
- Sea salt
Method
- Pre-line a plate or baking sheet with a piece of grease proof paper.
- Remove the stones from the dates and set aside.
- Meanwhile, place a saucepan of boiling water on a medium heat on the hob.
- Put the metal bowl on top of the saucepan.
- Break up the bar of chocolate and place it into the pan.
- Let the chocolate completely melt and the remove it from the heat.
- Roll the dates in the melted chocolate and place onto the pre-lined plate or baking sheet.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the top as you cover each chocolate.
- If you have leftover melted chocolate you can dunk the dates back into the chocolate until it’s all gone.
- Place back into the fridge until the chocolate is hard.
- Then serve and enjoy.
