Ingredients
- Leftover chicken and Parma ham x 500g (See below for chicken and Parma ham recipe)
- Spring onions x 6 – 8
- Carrot x 1
- Green beans x 4 handfuls
- Tamari x 2 tbsp
- Chicken stock x 2 ltr
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Noodles x 300g
Method
- Remove the tops and tails from the spring onions.
- Cut the spring onions into half centimetre pieces.
- Next peel the carrot and cut into thin batons.
- Put these vegetables into the slow cooker pot along with the green beans.
- Then add in the chicken stock, tamari and salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the slow cooker on high for 2 – 3 hours or low for 5 – 6 hours.
- Thirty minutes before the end add in the noodles and cook until ready to serve.
- Slice the chicken and Parma ham into 1 inch pieces.
- Once the noodles are cooked add them to the pot along with the chicken and Parma ham.
- Then serve and enjoy.

Ingredients for chicken and Parma ham
- Chicken breasts x 2 or 4 large
- Parma x 8 slices
Method for chicken and Parma ham
- Preheat the oven to 200° or gas mark 6.
- Put the chicken breasts onto the chopping.
- Wrap the each chicken breast in 2 pieces of Parma ham.
- Place the chicken breasts into the baking tray.
- Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and the juices run clear.
- If not, put the chicken back into the oven for another 5 minutes or until the juices run clear.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
- Then serve in the soup with the noodles and enjoy.
