In the October half term we visited my cousins and Auntie in Switzerland. One night for dinner my cousin’s partner Florian served a homemade stew. To accompany the stew we had mash potato with nutmeg and it was very tasty. I really enjoyed it and I decided to add it to my sweet potato mash with orange juice too. The nutmeg compliments the sweet potato very nicely and the orange juice brings a certain sweetness to the dish. I love it and I thought it would make a delicious side this Christmas. Below is video and recipe for you.

Orange and Nutmeg Sweet Potato Mash was lush! It was easy to make but the dish is slightly time consuming. The efforts are worth the results. I had to plan ahead to make this for my dinner one evening. I don’t think you could freeze this dish nor would like want too. It best cooked fresh on the day and I’m sure, if there are any leftovers, they would be good too. However you decide to eat this dish, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
