Googie’s Kitchen presents Baked Apples

Oven Baked Apples

For as long as I can remember my parents always grew fruit trees in their gardens. In the first house I lived in we had a huge pear tree. When we moved I think my parents missed having fruit growing in the garden so they brought an apple tree. It’s a tradition I’m please to stay I have upheld.

Now we have a small apple tree growing in our garden. I love apples and every year our tree has produced a lot of apples. Occasionally all at once. I’ve had to think fast and cook them before they get eaten by the animals that enter our garden. For me, baking them is a great way to keep them for longer. I freeze the baked apples and use them when I need too. Below is a video and recipe for you.

Are you growing fruit in your garden and if so, what kind? Let me know in the comments below and please don’t forget to like and follow me.

Oven Baked Apples

Oven Baked Apples was a delicious way to keep our apples for longer. It was slightly time consuming to prepare but very easy to cook. Plus they are very easy to store in the freezer as well. All of the ingredients in this dish are freezable so you can make a big batch and freeze it for another occasion. Plus they are delicious straight from the oven and eaten with cream. However you decide to eat this dish, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
