Apple and Blackberry Chia Seed Jam – Video Version

Apple, Blackberry Chia Seed Jam

When we first moved into this house over eight years ago I decided I wanted to grow an apple tree. We went to our local garden centre and I choose a tree. At the time I was so keen to plant an apple tree in the garden I didn’t check the variety. I think I choose a dwarf tree.

In the years that it has been planted in the garden it hasn’t grown very tall. For the first years it didn’t really give us a supply of apples either. This year we have had a bountiful supply that I’ve decided to make into jam. The jam is for us all to enjoy and we hope you like it too. Below is a video and recipe for you.

Apple, Blackberry Chia Seed Jam

Apple, Blackberry Chia Seed Jam was delicious. I ate this jam in my morning porridge and I also put it on chickpea flour wraps. It was slightly time consuming to prepare but it was easy to cook. It’s very easy to store and it will last a few weeks in the fridge too. You could also freeze it for another occasion. However you decide to eat this dish, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
