My Murdered Meatloaf Man is the perfect mix of creepy, delicious and fun food ideas. The meatloaf is shaped like a person with bloody tomato ketchup and a knife in it’s back, it creates a great centrepiece for Halloween parties, family dinners or a fright night feast. It very easy to prepare and cook. Plus it gave my little family a fright and a laugh. Let’s bring this tasty terror to life. Below is a video and recipe for you.

Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Peeler
  • Grater
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Teaspoon
  • Loaf tin

Ingredients

  • Tomato ketchup x 2 tbsps plus a tbsp for the knife wound
  • Tamari x 2 tbsps
  • Mince beef x 500g
  • Onion x 1
  • Courgette x 1
  • Carrot x 1
  • Ground flax seed x 4 – tbsps
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Pour enough oil onto the baking tray to cover the base.
  • Peel and grate the courgette and the carrot.
  • Next peel, slice and dice the onion.
  • Set these ingredient to aside.
  • Put the mince beef into a large mixing bowl.
  • Along with the tomato ketchup, tamari, grated courgette, grated carrot, ground flax seed and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Dampen your hands and scrunch these ingredients together.
  • Grab a part of the mixture and make the head.
  • Place the head onto a baking tray.
  • Next grab a larger piece of the mixture into a body.
  • Now place the body under the head on the baking tray.
  • Then divide the rest of the mixture into four equal parts and make the arms and the legs.
  • Place these body parts onto the man.
  • Place the meatloaf man in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C or gas mark 6 and put a baking tray in at the same time.
  • Once the oven has preheated carefully remove the baking tray from the fridge.
  • Place the tray back into the oven.
  • Cook for about 25 – 30 minutes or until the meat is golden brown and the juices run clear.
  • Serve with mash and veggies.
  • Then enjoy.

Murdered Meatloaf Man gave my family a shock and it satisfied in equal measures. As I mentioned earlier it was easy to prepare and cook. Plus it was a delicious meal that feed my whole family.
