3 Homemade Herbal Teas

Makes 1 small pot each

Ingredients for Wake Up Tea

  • Dried liquorice root chopped x 2 – 3 heaped tbsp
  • Dried spearmint leaves x 2 – 3 heaped tbsp

Method for Wake Up Tea

  • In a small mixing bowl pour the liquorice root and the spearmint leaves.
  • Mix these ingredients together.
  • Pour the contents into an air tight jar or tin.
  • Add instructions on how to use here,
    • Take a teaspoon of the wake up tea and put it into the tea strainer.
    • Put the strainer into a mug.
    • Boil the kettle and pour over boiling water.
    • Leave to brew for 3 – 5 minutes.
    • Once it’s brewed to your strength remove the tea strainer and enjoy.
  • This jar can be gifted to a friend or relative or it can be enjoyed by you.

  • Dried hibiscus’ leaves x 2 tbsp
  • Dried rose petals.

Method for the Calming Tea

  • In a small mixing bowl pour the hibiscus leaves and the rose petals.
  • Mix these ingredients together.

  • Add instructions on how to use here,
    • Take a teaspoon of the calming tea and put it into the tea strainer.
    • Put the strainer into a mug.
