The burgers are a fun and easy twist on classic burger flavours that’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick family meal. These burgers are packed with juicy, savoury goodness and wrapped with plenty of cheesy comfort or nutritional yeast. They are simple to make and guaranteed to satisfy. Whether you’re cooking for the family or just looking for a quick homemade treat, this recipe is full of flavour and perfect for busy days. Ingredients
- Mince beef x 500g
- Courgette x 1
- Ground flax seed or breadcrumbs x 4 – tbsps
- Tamari x 2 tbsps
- Onion granules x 1 tsp
- Garlic granules x 1 tsp
- Dried mixed herbs x 1 – 2 tsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wraps x 4
- Oil for the frying pan
Method
- Peel and grate the courgette.
- Set this ingredient to one side.
- Put the mince beef into a large mixing bowl.
- Along with the grated courgette, ground flax seed or breadcrumbs, tamari or soy sauce, onion granules, garlic granules, dried mixed herbs and salt and pepper to taste.
- Dampen your hands and scrunch these ingredients together.
- Again dampen your hands and divide the mixture into four equal parts.
- Grab a part and flatten it between your hands until it forms a burger or patty.
- Continue until the mix has been made into 4 burgers.
- Grab a wrap and press the burger firmly onto the wrap.
- Spread the burger as evenly as possible across the wrap.
- Tuck one end of the wrap in on itself and roll it up
- Repeat the process for the rest of the burgers and wraps.
- Put the plate into the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
- When ready to cook preheat the oven to 200°C or gas mark 6.
- Put a baking tray in at the same time.
- Once the oven has preheated remove the baking tray.
- Place the burger wraps on it and bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with chips and salad or veggies.
- Then enjoy.
