A Nutribullet Chocolate Smoothie is my new favourite way to enjoy this delicious recipe. There is a ‘How to Make my Nutribullet Choc Smoothie’ on my YouTube channel. We bought our from Amazon. They are a great energy boost for me in the morning and they keep those hunger pangs away until lunch. Raw Cocoa is great for the body, mind and spirit.
Cocoa powder is known to have more than 300 health compounds. It contains many vitamins and minerals as well as protein and fibre. It can help to lower blood pressure and improve circulation. Also it helps to improve cardiovascular function and it can help to improve digestion. There is also proof that a dose of raw chocolate can enhance physical and mental well being.
If you are going to try this recipe I would recommend that you buy raw cocoa powder. We buy ours from Amazon and as we only use a few tablespoons in recipes it lasts a long time. I make this smoothie occasionally for my breakfast and it really is worth a try with a Nutribullet.
Make 1 large or 2 small
- Dessert spoon
- Glass or glasses x 1 or 2?
- Spinach x 1 large handful
- Banana x 1 large
- Avocado x 1/2
- Coconut oil x 1 tbsp
- Almond butter x 1 tbsp
- Raw cocoa powder x 1 tbsp
- Ground hemp seeds x 1 tbsp (optional)
- Protein powder x 1 tbsp
- Ground cinnamon x 1 tsp
- Almond milk x 200mls
- Blueberries and raspberries x 2 large handfuls
- Place all of the ingredients in the cup of the nutribullet.
- Attach the blade and blend.
- Serve and enjoy.
It’s one of my quick and easy breakfasts that can be made in minutes and taken with me. I love it because it is chocolate in a glass. It’s yummy and filled with great nutrition for the morning energy kick. So much better than coffee. However you decide to enjoy this recipe, as always, enjoy.
