Seasoning our food is what we have been doing since the beginning of time. For many people, herbs and spices are the essence of life. The flavours of herbs and spices can really compliment a dish. A delicious meal will often help with our sense of well being. Meal times should not be a pit stop but a time to nourish the whole body.
Salt is another way to help nourish the body. The body will use salt to help balance the fluids in the blood. In turn this will help to maintain a healthy blood pressure. Plus it is also essential for nerve and muscle function too. With all this in mind I decided to combine these ingredients to make flavoured salts. The results were amazing and they make the perfect gift too.
Do you use flavoured salts and if so, what’s your favourite? Let me know in the comments below and please don’t forget to like and follow me.

Flavoured salts can be used in soups, sauces, stews and in curries. You could also add them to your roast potatoes and chips or you could add them to salad dressing in the summer. They are very versatile and as I mentioned earlier would make a brilliant present for a relative or friend. These salts are also Covid safe as you don’t need to put your hands in the ingredients. However you decide to use these flavoured salts, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
Hi Alexis, can you use rock salt for these,or better to use finely ground.
