While making this smoothie I wondered why we celebrate Easter with chocolate. After I had finished eating this tasty breakfast I decided to sit down and google it. The answer the internet came back with was that chocolate eggs started as a pagan symbol of fertility. It has also been developed as a symbol of spring and Christian resurrection. I’m sure Jesus wouldn’t mind if I passed on the chocolate egg and went straight for this smoothie bowl instead. Chocolate for breakfast who can resist? Not me. Below is a video and recipe for you.

Warm Chocolate and Salt Smoothie Bowl was a huge hit with me. Yes that’s right I’m in love with myself!!! I will make this for my little family in the future but I just wanted to try it first. The smoothie was creamy, rich and very warming. To be honest, it was salty but the salt knocked the edge from the sweetness. The best part about this smoothie is you can make it the night before and just simply heat it up before you want to eat it. However you decide to eat this dish, as always, please enjoy. Thank you xxx
