Equipment
- Sharp knife
- Vegetable peeler
- Chopping board
- Wok or frying pan

Ingredients
- Uncooked prawns x 500g
- Chorizo x 80 – 100g
- Spring onions x 1 bunch 8 – 10
- Garlic x 2 cloves
- Carrot x 1
- Red pepper x 1
- Green beans x 2 handfuls
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tamari x 2 tbsps
- Apple cider vinegar x 2 tbsps
- Honey or sugar x 2 tbsps
Method
- Score the skin of the chorizo and peel the skin off.
- Slice the chorizo lengthways and then into quarters.
- Then slice the chorizo widthways into half centimetre pieces.
- Remove the tops and tails from the spring onions.
- Squash the garlic under the knife.
- Remove the skin and slice the cloves.
- Peel and slice the carrot into batons.
- Cut the top from the red pepper.
- Remove the core and the stalk.
- Slice and dice the flesh.
- Put a large pan onto a high heat and add oil to the base of the pan.
- When the pan is hot add the chorizo into the pan and fry until the oil comes out from it.
- Next add in the spring onions and fry the onions until they start to soften.
- Once the onions are soft add in the garlic and fry until it’s starts to turn golden brown and you can smell it.
- It should only take about 20 – 30 seconds.
- The pan maybe to hot so turn the heat down and add water to the base.
- Add in the carrots, red peppers and green beans.
- Then fry these for a further few minutes.
- Next add in the prawns.
- Fry for two minutes on either side or until they turn pink all over.
- Add in the tamari, honey and apple cider vinegar.
- Stir these ingredients in.
- Remove the pan from the heat.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
- Finally enjoy.
