Last week I reached a couple of milestones on my vlogging and blogging journey. On Monday I made it to my 800th blog post and on Thursday I made it to 200 subscribers on my YouTube Channel Alexis Knibbs. My other YouTube channel Googie’s Kitchen has a little way to go before we get anywhere these numbers. For now though, I’m really proud of my achievements to date. So I wanted to celebrate this landmark.
Plus, it was Dad’s belief that every person should have a home. He would always tell me that where ever I was in the world I could always go home. That meant the world to me. So £1 from the sale of each physical book (buy here) will go to Crisis the homeless charity.
Dad was always in his happy place when he was in the kitchen. It was the equivalent of his shed. In this book, I feel I have shared the joy my Dad would get feeding his family and friends. It gave him great pleasure to feed people and I’m so proud as I feel I have now put this down in writing. If you do decide to invest in a copy of Gifts from Grandpa then thank you so much and I hope you feel inspired by my Dad’s cooking as much as I do. Here’s to another 800 recipe and lifestyle posts and hopefully a few more subscribers, please god.
