Equipment
- Sharp knife
- Chopping board
- Teaspoon
- Tablespoon
- Stirring spoon
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts x 500g
- Onion x 1
- Garlic x 2 cloves
- Carrot x 1
- Red pepper x 1
- Sundried tomatoes x 8 – 10
- Green beans x 2 handfuls
- Chicken stock x 500mls
- Dried mixed herbs x 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cream cheese x 2 – 4 tbsp
Method
- Peel and slice the onions and garlic.
- Slice the top from the red pepper and remove the core and the stalk.
- Next slice the flesh of the pepper.
- Peel the carrot and slice it width ways.
- Remove the sundried tomatoes from the jar and slice in half.
- Cut the chicken into two inch pieces.
- Put these ingredients into the slow cooker pot along with the green beans.
- Pour over the chicken stock and mix these ingredients together.
- Sprinkle over salt and pepper to taste.
- Next add in the dried mixed herbs and stir these ingredients in.
- Place the lid on the pot.
- Turn the cooker onto high for 2 – 3 hours or on low for 5 – 6 hours.
- Before the end of the cooking process cook the pasta as per the packet instructions.
- Once the ingredients are cooked remove the lid and add in the cream cheese.
- Stir the cream cheese into the sauce.
- Add the pasta to the sauce and stir this in as well.
- Finally serve and enjoy.
